Hello,
I just installed pyTOMTOM to get a better app than HOME to manage my tomtom.
It is mounted:
/dev/sdc 2003108 8 2003100 1% /media/INTERNAL
/dev/sdb1 3971584 2500000 1471584 64% /media/disk
Unfortunately, pyTOMTOM does not see. If I modify pyTOMTOM.cfg and add
ptMount=/media/disk
it still does not see it. What is wrong? I searched this forum but I only found
Ubuntu, I use Debian (and I always find Ubuntu a bit odd).
pyTOMTOM 0.5beta3b
Debian Lenny/Stable (using xfce, but this should not make a difference)
Thanks,
Frits

hi ! nice to read you...
Sorry for my bad english... ;p
What's your model ?
Do you have some "mod" installed on your tomtom... Some unofficiel addons modify official files or repertories...
Or Perhaps, the file "tomtom.ico" (tomtom root directory) has been deleted.
I hope we will found any solution together...
best regards,
Tom

Thank you for your reply. This was the problem, tomtom.ico got lost somewhere
(it is not in the navcore packages).
On my 720 there is nothing on internal flash, all is on the SD card. Unmounting is
not fully successful because /media/INTERNAL is not unmounted. Do I need tomtom.ico
on internal flash too?

hi!
I don't know... both (SD & Internal) are mounted by pytomtom ?
I'll try to find any solution in my spare time.
I'll notice you on this post for testing... if you agree
Thanks.

What do you mean by "mounted by pytomtom"? They are auto-mounted by the OS.
Is tomtom.ico required on both drives to be recognised by pytomtom (and unmounted)?
Update:
I tried tomtom.ico on both drives. Both are recognised by pytomtom, but unmounting
of the non-configured drive does not work. Maybe I need to have a look at the code.

in options tab, pytomtom only shows usb device with tomtom.ico (you can plug usb key at the same time, it will no appear in options, only TomTom)
At this time, pytomtom unmount only the device selected in options tab, so i can ask pytomtom for unmounting all device with tomtom.ico... i'll try this in next release...
Thanks,
Tom.
